Origin and description: large traditional Ashanti "female" stool, Ghana. The stool eventually symbolizes the soul of the society. It serves as the link between the common people in society and the chief of the village or town. Every component part of the design of the stool represents one of the main ideas that make a harmonious society.

Dimensions: approx. 40 cm x 30 cm x 20 cm
Condition: very good, some cracks and wear (see photos)
